Szkoły na Końcu Świata

Szkoła Faraway, known in Poland as Szkoły na Końcu Świata, is a Kraków-based foundation established in 2011 to expand educational opportunities for children and young people in Nepal’s remote Mustang region. Since 2012, it has funded secondary and vocational education for students whose families cannot afford the costs of schooling. Through its Scholarships for a Better Future program, the foundation helps students gain professional skills, pursue their ambitions and retain a connection to their cultural identity.

The organization supports students’ education, including schooling and boarding costs, and invites individuals and businesses to contribute through regular donations, annual scholarships or its shared scholarship fund. It also accepts donations designated through Polish tax arrangements. Beyond financial support for education, the foundation organizes exhibitions, workshops and talks to introduce audiences to the world and culture of the communities it supports. Its work includes helping equip Mustang House, a new school opened in 2025. The foundation presents education as a way to broaden young people’s prospects while recognizing their aspirations and heritage.
