About Szombathely2030
Szombathely2030 is an ambitious initiative focused on elevating living standards through education, research, and industrial transformation. It aims to create a resilient knowledge-based economy in Szombathely by promoting advanced development programs and fostering collaboration among universities, businesses, and local governments. The project concentrates on two primary sectors: industrial digitization and complex rehabilitation.
In industrial digitization, Szombathely2030 encourages the transformation of the automotive industry and the establishment of a robust health sector, emphasizing automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence. The complex rehabilitation component presents a unique development and testing environment, covering facilities from households to elderly care and virtual hospital infrastructures, with a distinct focus on sports, stroke recovery, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Key achievements include establishing research centers, initiating crucial projects in health care technology, and launching innovative education programs that grant international diplomas.
