T3-Triathlon

T3-Triathlon provides individualized coaching for triathletes, runners, cyclists, and endurance athletes, with services designed to support both first-time racers and experienced competitors. Led by Torsten Abel, a San Francisco Bay Area coach based in Marin County, the brand draws on more than 36 years of athletic and coaching experience, including 13 years as a professional triathlete. Torsten’s background spans international racing and athlete development, and his coaching has helped athletes earn world championship titles and podiums, age-group national titles, and race victories.

Services include triathlon, running, and cycling coaching, running gait analysis, performance consulting, and lactate testing. The T3 approach emphasizes individualized guidance, evidence-informed training, sustainable progress, and adjustments that account for work, family, recovery, and other demands of daily life. Athlete stories highlight support for varied goals and circumstances, including returning from injury, building consistency, improving race times, qualifying for championships, and completing a first marathon. Rather than relying on more data or simply adding training volume, T3-Triathlon focuses on helping athletes make informed decisions, train with purpose, and approach race day with confidence.
