Taiwan Architecture & Building Center (TABC) is a trusted and authoritative organization in the field of architecture and construction. Established in accordance with the resolution of the National Architecture Conference held by the Ministry of the Interior in 1995, TABC was formed to jointly develop a system for building material testing and quality certification. This initiative aims to ensure the implementation of reliable mechanisms for building inspection and certification.

TABC operates under the Organizational Regulations of the Ministry of the Interior's Building Research Institute, which emphasizes the support and guidance provided to the private sector in establishing specialized institutions for inspection, testing, and other related services in the field of construction. Recognized and approved by the Ministry of the Interior in March 1999, TABC obtained its legal status with the issuance of the corporate registration certificate by the Taipei District Court in April of the same year.
