La Table Gourmande is a family-style fine-food shop and wine cellar in the medieval heart of Aubenas, Ardèche. Founded in 1901, it is known for carefully selected products and a broad range of local specialties alongside gourmet foods from France and beyond. Its shelves include savory and sweet groceries, teas, pâtés and terrines, olive oils, sauces, spices, chocolates, confectionery, honey, jams and dried mushrooms.
Ardèche favorites include chestnut liqueurs, chestnut cream, jams, honey and the celebrated glacé chestnuts of local makers Imbert and Sabaton. The selection also features foie gras from the Landes, smoked salmon, caviar, fresh truffles and other fine ingredients for preparing special meals. Its vaulted wine cellar offers French wines and other bottles, as well as spirits and liqueurs, with guidance available from the proprietor.
