About Taboadella
Taboadella is a wine estate in Portugal’s Dão region, owned by the Amorim family and located in Silvã de Cima, between the Vale do Pereiro and Vale do Sequeiro valleys. Its 42-hectare vineyard is divided into 26 parcels, where red and white grape varieties grow in a distinctive setting shaped by maritime and continental influences. The surrounding mountain ranges help protect the vines from Atlantic weather and winds from Spain.
Taboadella produces wines that express the estate’s historic terroir and genetic heritage, with slow-ripening grapes contributing to their elegance, complexity and freshness. The estate’s winery combines functional architecture with natural materials, including wood and cork, reflecting a connection to nature and sustainability. With a history linked to wine production for more than 15 centuries, Taboadella also welcomes visitors for wine tourism experiences, including visits and tastings, workshops and other activities.
Guests can explore the estate and its story, while the on-site Casa Villae 1255 offers dining and self-cooking experiences. Wines, vouchers and bookings are available through the estate’s website
