Tacoma Runners

Tacoma Runners is a free, inclusive social running club serving Tacoma, Washington, since 2010. Welcoming runners of all speeds and abilities, the club makes it easy to find community, explore local routes, and enjoy regular runs without a membership fee. Its signature Thursday night social run meets each week at a different local business or park and takes place rain or shine. The club also hosts a free Saturday 5K, a timed event on a measured course that participants can approach as a training run or friendly competition.

For runners seeking new places to explore, Tacoma Runners offers a free library of routes across the South Sound, collected from past events and community submissions. Visitors can filter routes and upvote favorites to help others discover them. First-time participants are asked to complete a one-time registration for runs listed on the club calendar. Tacoma Runners also welcomes volunteers to support event operations and help ensure everyone finishes safely. Donations help maintain the club; the organization states that gifts are tax-deductible.
