Tactical Survival

Tactical Survival Academy is a 100% Kiwi-owned, independent self-defence and martial arts school serving the Wellington region. Operating in New Zealand since 2008, it aims to equip individuals, organisations and security professionals with practical skills to live and work more safely and confidently. Its training is grounded in lawful, effective responses and includes two core systems: Krav Maga, a defensive tactics system taught by instructors certified through Protect Academy in Jerusalem, and Kali, a Filipino martial art combining weapon-based and empty-hand techniques, taught under guidance connected with the Inosanto Academy in Los Angeles.

The academy offers weekly Krav Maga, Kali and women’s classes, as well as seminars and five-day summer and winter intensive courses. Its services also include workplace violence prevention, public safety and counter-terrorism awareness, and tactical training for government, defence, police and security sectors. Led by Chief Instructor Wilson Sze, the school provides training for civilians and organisations, with programs spanning self-defence, martial arts, fitness, empowerment and personal development.
