Taef

The Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation (TAEF) is a pioneering policy-oriented think tank established in 2018, with a primary focus on Southeast Asian and South Asian affairs. Aligned with the New Southbound Policy (NSP), TAEF works towards fostering strong ties between Taiwan and ASEAN countries, South Asian states, Australia, and New Zealand. Through initiatives in think tanks, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and grooming young leaders, TAEF aims to develop a sense of regional community in Asia and forge lasting partnerships.

The foundation conducts in-depth policy research, hosts international conferences like the Yushan Forum, and advocates for Taiwan's active participation in shaping Asia's future. By engaging in academic cooperation, promoting public diplomacy, and cultivating international partnerships, TAEF endeavors to enhance Taiwan's regional connections and contribute significantly to Asian studies
