Taekwondo Fertois is a martial arts and sports club based in La Ferté-Bernard, France, and affiliated with the French Taekwondo and Associated Disciplines Federation (FFTDA). The club welcomes people of different ages and offers several ways to practise Taekwondo, the Korean art known as “the way of the feet and fists.”
Training includes combat, where participants practise attacking and defending with controlled punches and kicks; traditional poomsae, a sequence of movements performed against imagined opponents; and Ho Shin Soul, a self-defence discipline covering holds, sweeps, throws and joint controls. The club also offers Body Taekwondo, a fitness session combining Taekwondo techniques with music, cardio, strengthening, core work and stretching.
Its activities are presented as supporting fitness, coordination, flexibility and self-confidence, alongside respect, discipline and personal balance. The club emphasises that Taekwondo is suitable for women as well as men and describes its practice as a sport for the whole family.
