Taekwondo Zlín is a club dedicated to Korean martial arts and Olympic taekwondo, combining traditional techniques with modern competitive sport. The club introduces taekwondo as the “art of fighting with feet and hands,” emphasizing dynamic movement, precise techniques, fast reactions, and powerful kicking. Its activities bring together martial arts training, athletic development, and participation in competitions and sporting events.

The club is led by Mgr. Svatopluk Štípek, a fifth-dan instructor, alongside coaches Petr Sovadina, Anna Hlavinková, and Kamila Lutonská, who works with the introductory training group. Taekwondo Zlín offers training and support for participants at different stages, including a children’s and youth focus reflected in its camps and junior events. Its calendar and photo archive document a broad programme of activities, from local gatherings and training camps to tournaments in the Czech Republic and abroad. The club also highlights successful athletes and celebrates the sport’s Olympic profile, including Czech taekwondo competitors at the Paris 2024 Games.
