Brighton Taekwon-Do

Brighton Martial Arts is a Taekwon-Do school serving Brighton and Hove, offering welcoming classes for children, teenagers and adults of different ages and ability levels. Its training combines physical fitness and mental development with practical self-defence, in a friendly, non-judgemental setting. Classes include patterns, pad work, sparring, fitness exercises and self-defence releases, giving students varied opportunities to build skills and progress towards their goals.

Children’s sessions use a fun, structured and inclusive approach for ages 5 to 12. Instructors provide individual support to help newcomers settle in, while training aims to develop confidence, self-esteem, respect, discipline, strength and coordination. Adult and teen classes welcome beginners and adapt instruction to different abilities, so participants can develop at their own pace and improve fitness, endurance and coordination.

The school runs weekly classes at venues across the city, including St Georges Hall, Knoyle Hall, Balfour Junior School and St Andrews C of E School in Hove.
