Tälchen Karneval

Tälchen Karneval e.V. is a carnival association serving the Tälchen community in and around Konz-Niedermennig. Its activities bring residents and visitors together through seasonal celebrations, performances and community events. A central part of the association’s program is its Kappensitzungen, lively carnival meetings that attract audiences and feature local entertainment. The organization also coordinates ticket sales for its annual carnival session, with advance sales held at the Bürgerhaus. Its website shares event announcements, dates, news and information for participants and guests.

Beyond the carnival season, Tälchen Karneval e.V. hosts a traditional May festival on the village square and has organized a “Tanz in den Mai” celebration. The association also supports dance groups and offers children’s cinema activities, reflecting its focus on involving different generations in community life. When in-person gatherings were disrupted, it shared a digital carnival session and highlights from past decades. Through these events and activities, Tälchen Karneval e.V. helps sustain local carnival traditions and create opportunities for people to celebrate together.
