About TX Future Educators
The Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) is a premier Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) recognized by the Texas Education Agency, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of educators. Founded in the 1980s under the vision of Dr. Carroll Thomas, TAFE aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to pursue careers in teaching.
With over 4,000 members across Texas, TAFE offers a comprehensive platform for students to engage in competitive events and conferences at the area, state, and national levels. Members benefit from opportunities such as scholarships, honor cords, and networking with education professionals. TAFE's programs include leadership workshops, officer training, and collaborative events like the Teach Tomorrow Summit and Educators Rising Conference.
