taichi le Mans

ARAMIS is an association in Le Mans dedicated to the study and practice of Chinese internal martial arts. Founded in 1980 under the impetus of Serge Dreyer, it has shared these disciplines with the local community for more than 46 years. Its teaching includes taiji quan, hsing i and bagua zhang, with classes covering forms, weapons, tuishou and bagua. The association welcomes people of different ages and physical abilities, and its certified teachers offer guidance for those seeking to manage stress, improve flexibility or explore the martial aspects of internal practice. ARAMIS is affiliated with the FAEMC.

Alongside regular weekly classes, ARAMIS runs workshops and events, including the annual Rencontres de Jasnières, an open gathering for practitioners of all styles and levels, focused on practice, exchange and conviviality. The association also shares teaching resources, such as videos demonstrating tuishou exercises, and publishes updates on classes, stages and events. Its activities bring together learning, martial practice and a welcoming community in Sarthe.
