Taichindo

The Fédération Française de Taichindo is the official federation dedicated to Taichindo, a traditional movement practice described as a path of research and personal exploration. Founded in 1970 in Osaka, Japan, under the authority of HORO Saiko Shihan, the discipline brings together ancestral techniques and knowledge associated with Japanese Budo, the Chinese Shih Pa Lo Han Sho, and Indian Vàjra Yoga.

Taichindo’s practice centers on energetic movement sequences, or katas, coordinated with deep breathing and the circulation of breath and energy. Its name is explained through three ideas: movement and harmonisation (TAI), the alchemy of breath (CHIN), and a path of research (DO). The federation presents these symbolic movements as a way to explore inner harmony and body awareness.
