Taikaterapiat

Taikaterapiat Oy provides therapy, riding instruction, and equine-based activities in a peaceful rural setting in Haukipudas, about a 20-minute drive from central Oulu, Finland. Its services include riding therapy, occupational therapy, and trauma psychotherapy. Riding therapy is delivered collaboratively by a riding therapist and a specially trained therapy horse, while occupational therapy supports children, young people, and adults in developing practical ways to manage everyday life. Trauma psychotherapy focuses on strengthening coping and functioning and processing traumatic memories.

The company also runs Riding School Taikatalli, offering supportive lessons for children, teenagers, and adults. Instruction takes place in a safe environment and is adapted to each rider’s skills and individual needs. The riding school is approved by the Finnish Equestrian Federation, and its approach emphasizes horse welfare and responsible practices. For children, lessons feature gentle horses, a calm setting, and encouragement at each child’s own pace. Other offerings include riding camps, workplace well-being and recreational activities, and stable birthday parties.
