Taikishin

Taikishin Karate is a full-contact karate club based in Emmen, the Netherlands. Its training style combines karate with influences from Muay Thai, Kyokushin, and Kung Fu, bringing together explosive movement, discipline, and technical refinement. The club presents karate as more than a sport: it is a path of personal development focused on respect, perseverance, character, and growth in physical and mental strength. Its dojo welcomes both young and adult participants, with an emphasis on developing strong people as well as capable fighters. Taikishin highlights tradition alongside full-contact practice and invites newcomers to experience its approach and train as part of a team.

Training sessions are held on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 20:00 at Gymzaal OBS Bargeres, Mantingerbrink 201, and on Fridays from 19:30 to 20:30 at Angelslo Academy, Smedingeslag 1A, both in Emmen. Membership costs €26 per month, and newcomers can try four lessons free. For information, contact Taikishin Karate at [email protected].
