-TAIVASKIVAA-

Taivaskivaa offers tandem flights in powered paragliders in the Turku area of Finland. The experience combines a scenic flight with the opportunity to discover powered paragliding alongside a pilot. Flights last approximately 45 minutes, and the full event takes around two hours. Before take-off, passengers receive about 15 minutes of instruction while the equipment is assembled and adjusted.

Flights take place in suitable weather, usually in the morning or evening when winds are steadier. Take-off is into the wind, with a short assisted run, and the advertised launch and landing site is a grassy parachuting field near Turku Airport’s cargo terminal. Tandem passengers must weigh no more than 90 kilograms, and the stated wind limit is an average of one to three metres per second in the Turku area.

A tandem flight costs €250, including VAT, and includes an edited flight video and insurance for the paragliding flight. Gift vouchers are also available. Taivaskivaa can be contacted by phone or at its address on Lentorahdintie in Turku.
