About Malaysian Takaful Association
Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA) is at the forefront of promoting Value-Based Intermediation for Takaful (VBIT) in the Islamic finance industry. With a comprehensive framework launched in 2021, MTA aims to integrate value-based practices into Family Takaful, General Takaful, and Retakaful Operators. The VBIT agenda emphasizes community empowerment, good self-governance, and financial resilience while ensuring inclusive protection for all segments of society.
By aligning with Bank Negara Malaysia and industry leaders, MTA's VBIT Framework sets clear guidelines for implementing Value-Based Intermediation strategies. Furthermore, the recently introduced VBIT Roadmap outlines key initiatives to unlock the potential of the Takaful industry for a sustainable finance ecosystem.
