高輪書道教室

髙輪書道教室, located just a seven-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, offers exclusive, small-group private lessons in calligraphy, specializing in the delicate art of 仮名 (kana). Founded and instructed by Ken Nishida, a former elementary school teacher and a skilled calligrapher, the school caters to a diverse range of students, from beginners to those seeking advanced techniques in their calligraphy practice.

Emphasizing a tranquil and nurturing environment, students can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in the elegant world of calligraphy. The lessons are thoughtfully tailored to meet individual needs and goals, ensuring personalized attention, particularly for new learners, who receive guidance from the very basics of holding a brush.

The school also offers special programs for students, from preschoolers to high schoolers, fostering a deep appreciation for Japanese culture while building global awareness. With all necessary materials provided, newcomers are encouraged to come with nothing but a desire to learn and create.
