About Takibi
Takibi is an award-winning Japanese restaurant in Portland, Oregon, located at Snow Peak’s U. S. headquarters.
Founded by Japanese outdoor lifestyle brand Snow Peak, it draws on more than 60 years of heritage and the idea that gathering around a fire can restore the human spirit. Its name means “bonfire” in Japanese, reflecting a welcoming approach shaped by craftsmanship, community, and the seasons. Takibi’s lunch menu features ramen inspired by Niigata traditions, with Michelin-inspired broths, snow-aged noodles, and carefully sourced ingredients.
In the evening, the restaurant offers a chef-driven experience centered on fire and Pacific Northwest ingredients, including wood-fired plates, sushi, sashimi, and tempura. Guests can also choose seasonal Chef’s Choice Omakase or Vegan Omakase menus. The beverage program includes an extensive selection of Japanese sake, particularly from Niigata, as well as craft cocktails and non-alcoholic options.
Recognized by Esquire and Portland Monthly, Takibi invites guests to share thoughtfully prepared food in a warm setting. It also offers private dining, reservations, and gift cards
