About Talents of Tanzania
The House of Talents in Chanika, Dar es Salaam is a Children & Youth Community Organization that is dedicated to empowering Tanzania's youth. Founded in 2021, the organization aims to make a lasting impact on the spirit and future of Tanzania's youngest generation. The founders, Godlisten and Astrid, recognized the potential of acrobatics and performing arts in boosting the confidence and skills of children and adolescents affected by rural poverty.
The House of Talents provides a secure environment where their talents are recognized and valued, and supports their education and training. The organization is certified and recognized as a non-governmental organization in Tanzania. To ensure the sustainability of their mission, a sister-organization called Förderverein für Tansanias Junge Talente (FTJT) was founded in Switzerland to raise funds.
The House of Talents is supported by a dedicated team of professionals, including acrobatic trainers, a teacher, and a social worker. With the help of local volunteers and guest trainers, they create a nurturing environment for the children to learn and train. To make a difference and support this impactful initiative, donations are welcome.
