Tales for Tadpoles is an independent Irish bookshop and gift shop founded and operated by Caroline Sullivan. Our shop offers a delightful selection of illustration and picture books for people of all ages. We curate our range from the most innovative and iconic illustrators worldwide, spanning from classic to contemporary works.

In addition to books, we also offer an array of beautiful prints, gifts, and homewares, all designed by illustrators or inspired by children's literature. When you shop with us, you can trust that every item has been carefully chosen by someone who shares your passion for illustration. We believe that illustrated books can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and our dedicated team of expert booksellers is always ready to recommend a perfect book for children, babies, teens, nieces, nephews, students, and family friends.

Beginning as a small market stall, Tales for Tadpoles has grown into a beloved bookshop and gift store. We recently relocated to a charming seaside town, Bray, Co. Wicklow, but don't worry if you can't visit us in person, we ship worldwide and offer our full range online.
