Talking Horse Farm

Talking-Horse-Farm is an equestrian centre in Schwegenheim, Germany, founded by Esther Paulus to help people build a better relationship with horses through understanding, communication and mutual respect. Its approach focuses on recognising horses’ body language and needs, with the aim of helping horse and rider work together as a team.

The farm offers riding lessons for beginners and returning riders, with an emphasis on horse-friendly recreational riding and trail riding. Lessons are available with customers’ own horses or the farm’s school horses. Courses and seminars cover horse care, groundwork, horsemanship, horse communication and trail riding. In Horse-Talk sessions, participants learn to interpret and influence horses through body language and understanding, and to communicate with them more directly.

Other services include guided rides of around two hours, half-day and full-day outings, and longer trail rides through varied countryside. During school holidays, the farm runs children’s riding camps, offered for half days, full days or with overnight stays. It also hosts individually planned pony-themed birthday celebrations for children.
