About Taller del Chucho
Taller del Chucho is an animation studio that focuses on nurturing local talent and fostering an environment for the production, innovation, dissemination, and promotion of the film industry. Based in the central-west region of the country, our goal is to attract both national and international productions and have a direct impact on the region. Our talented team of animators and staff are capable of handling the entire pipeline of audiovisual productions.
In addition, we are proud to have renowned directors such as Rita Basulto and Sofía Carrillo as part of our team. Rita Basulto, a four-time Ariel Award winner, has an impressive filmography and has collaborated with studios like Mackinnon & Saunders and Warner Bros Animation. Sofía Carrillo, a graduate of the University of Guadalajara, has also received recognition for her animated short films in prestigious festivals worldwide.
