Traverse Tall Ship Company has been offering sailing adventures since 1987, inviting visitors to experience the beauty of Grand Traverse Bay from the water. Based in Traverse City, Michigan, the company operates two wind-powered vessels: the Schooner Manitou and Sailing Yacht Scout. Its trips showcase the bay’s clear waters and tree-lined shores, providing a memorable way to enjoy the region.
Aboard the 114-foot Schooner Manitou, passengers can take part in the sailing experience by helping hoist the sails or taking a turn at the helm, or simply relax and take in the scenery. Sailing Yacht Scout offers a more private outing for up to six passengers. Each Scout trip is booked privately and includes a captain, allowing guests to enjoy the boat together and choose where they would like to sail.
Traverse Tall Ship Company offers online booking and gift cards for its sailing experiences. The company is located on South West Bay Shore Drive in Traverse City and can be contacted by phone or email for information about its adventures.
