The Asociación de Peñas de Tamborileros de Hellín is an organization dedicated to the drum-playing tradition of Holy Week in Hellín, Albacete, Spain. It brings together the town’s drum groups and helps share a custom celebrated across generations. The Hellín tamboradas—ritual gatherings of drummers—were inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2018.
The association provides information about the tamboradas held throughout Holy Week, from Friday of Sorrows to Easter Sunday, including their routes, traditions and key moments. Its website also features event listings, announcements, posters, videos, drum rhythms and photographic material. Publications include Revista Tambor and Revista Ecos del Tambor, while its photography competition invites people to document the celebrations.
Through cultural information and event resources, the association supports public engagement with Hellín’s distinctive celebrations, including the large gatherings in which thousands of drummers play together. It also offers contact details for people seeking information about the association and its activities.
