**Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa**

The Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa is an influential annual gathering that unites African leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to collaboratively address pressing security challenges. Held in the picturesque town of Bahir Dar, Ethiopia—nestled along the shores of Lake Tana—the Forum provides a unique, informal environment that fosters candid dialogue. Participants engage in immersive discussions that merge academic research with real-world experiences, aiming for actionable, policy-relevant outcomes.

Central to the Tana Forum's identity is the baobab tree, symbolizing unity and the moral imperative to seek peace and security solutions tailored for Africa. The event's informal setting encourages open dialogue, while live updates ensure broader accessibility for interested observers. Notably, the Forum’s chairperson, Olusegun Obasanjo, exemplifies this spirit by promoting a relaxed atmosphere conducive to earnest conversation. With its commitment to African-led solutions, the Tana Forum is a pivotal platform for shaping the continent's peace and security landscape. For more insights, visit www.tanaforum.org.
