Tandem OT

Tandem OT is an occupational therapy service in Kerry supporting children and adolescents who experience challenges with executive functioning, sensory processing, emotional regulation, motor coordination and independence. Led by Linda, a CORU-registered occupational therapist with more than 14 years of clinical experience, the practice offers evidence-based assessments and a family-centred approach. Its aim is to help families understand their child’s needs and identify practical ways to support participation and wellbeing at home, at school and in everyday life.

Services include specialist occupational therapy assessments, parent consultations and coaching, occupational performance coaching, therapy intervention, home and school programmes, school consultation and sensory regulation support. Families begin with an initial discussion about the child’s strengths, challenges and goals, followed by an assessment tailored to their needs. Tandem OT then provides clear recommendations and personalised support planning, with guidance explained in straightforward language. The practice emphasises collaboration, empathy and realistic strategies that families can use in daily routines.
