About Tangazdaság
MATE Tangazdaság Nonprofit Kft. is an integral part of the Hungarian Agrarian and Life Sciences University (MATE), established to enhance practical education in agriculture and life sciences. Founded on February 1, 2021, following the merger of various agricultural research institutes and facilities, MATE Tangazdaság serves as a pivotal innovation and education hub in the agricultural sector. The organization manages approximately 2,000 hectares across three campuses—Gödöllő, Keszthely, and Kaposvár—focusing primarily on livestock farming and crop production.
The diverse offerings include dairy and beef cattle farming, pig farming, and a wide range of plant cultivation initiatives. Additionally, the renowned Pannon Horse Academy and Georgikon Veterinary and Equestrian Center further expand MATE Tangazdaság's capabilities in equestrian education.
