Tangipahoa Parish School System is committed to providing a high-quality education and a pathway to success for every student. With a mission to give graduates the foundation they need to confidently enter the workforce or continue their education, TPSS aims to create a safe and innovative environment for learning. Led by Superintendent Melissa Martin Stilley, TPSS is dedicated to making a positive, lasting impact in the community.

Currently, the school system is focused on improving literacy rates, with a goal of having every child in the parish reading on level by the third grade. With various departments and programs, TPSS offers a comprehensive range of services and resources to support students, families, and employees. From academic supervisors and career and technical education programs to special education and summer learning camps, TPSS ensures that all students have access to a well-rounded education.

With a strong emphasis on community involvement, TPSS invites businesses and individuals to join their mission and make a difference in the lives of Tangipahoa Parish students
