About Tankste!
It offers a simple way to compare current gasoline and diesel prices. Its traffic-light system makes it easy to see at a glance which stations currently offer lower prices. Users can filter results by fuel type, choosing between E5 gasoline, E10 gasoline, and diesel.
The app’s minimalist interface draws inspiration from Bertha, a favorite app that is no longer available. tankste! was created to offer a similar straightforward experience after other apps failed to meet its creators’ expectations. The project is fully open source, and its code is available on GitHub. Users can contribute ideas and improvements by creating issues or submitting pull requests. The first version provides a small set of functions, with more features planned for the future. Made in Germany by Fabian Keunecke, tankste! aims to make checking fuel prices nearby clear and convenient.
