Tank Town USA is an adventure attraction in Morganton, Georgia, offering visitors the chance to operate military and construction equipment in a supervised setting. Its experiences include driving a tank over a rugged course, crushing a car beneath 17 tons of military steel, and operating a 40,000-pound excavator. Visitors can book individual activities or combine tank driving and excavator operation in a discounted package. Tank rides include instruction and may accommodate passengers, while excavator operation is for the driver only.
The attraction also offers machine gun shooting with an M-1919, starting with packages that include 100 rounds. Group and corporate options bring together activities such as tank driving, excavator operation, shooting, and car crushing, with packages designed for parties and larger groups. Gift certificates are available, and reservations are required for all experiences. Age and passenger requirements apply: drivers generally need to be at least 15 and hold a learner’s permit, while passengers must be at least 7.
