The Tap Brewing Company is an award-winning brewery and restaurant in downtown Haverhill, Massachusetts. Since 2003, it has brewed ales and lagers in a historic Washington Street building beside the Merrimack River. Its in-house 10-barrel brewhouse produces a rotating selection of craft beers, with typically 11 to 12 varieties available on tap, including seasonal releases and Brewer’s Choice selections.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, pairing its beer with hand-crafted burgers, smoked wings, and other pub fare. Guests can dine in the exposed-brick dining room or enjoy outdoor seating on the riverfront deck during warmer months. The downstairs Playpen offers a separate bar, pool tables, and a jukebox, and is open Friday and Saturday nights. For enjoying its beer at home, The Tap sells cans and freshly filled growlers.
