Tapster

Tapster is a pay-by-the-ounce, self-serve bar and tasting-room brand designed to make trying drinks easy, social, and welcoming. Guests are greeted by staff, have their ID checked, and open a tab with a credit card linked to a Tapster TapCard. They can then choose from the available taps, pour their own drinks, and pay for the amount they serve, whether it is a single ounce or a full glass. This format lets visitors sample at their own pace without waiting for a bartender to take each order.

Tapster’s taps feature a range of beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, cider, hard seltzer, kombucha, cold brew coffee, and craft sodas. The brand describes its spaces as bright, friendly, community-oriented alternatives to typical nightclubs or sports bars, suited to relaxing and spending time together. Tapster operates locations in Seattle, Bellevue, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Lexington, and Denver, with events and private gatherings available at participating venues.
