Tap to Sign

Tap to Sign provides electronic-signature software designed to simplify paperwork for automotive dealerships. The platform works with web-based and desktop Dealer Management Systems (DMS), including systems that can print forms, and supports additional documents supplied as PDFs. Dealership staff can send forms to Tap to Sign, where customers sign once and then tap to complete subsequent documents. Signing is available in person on an iPad or remotely using a phone, tablet, or computer.

The service captures customers’ hand-drawn signatures, rather than using a font-style substitute, and states that it complies with the Federal E-Sign Act and is accepted by Departments of Motor Vehicles. Deals are encrypted and stored in the cloud for retrieval. The company offers plans priced by dealership inventory size, with unlimited e-signatures, users, forms, and cloud storage; month-to-month payment is available. RouteOne eContracting is offered as an additional integration, and a one-time installation fee may apply. Tap to Sign also highlights NIST IAL2 identity compliance for qualifying remote transactions and offers sales support and product demonstrations.
