About Taranaki Health Foundation
The Taranaki Health Foundation is a charitable organization founded in 1998 in partnership with the Taranaki District Health Board. Our shared vision is to enable the best possible healthcare in our region by fundraising for key projects that make a significant difference to the community. Over the years, we have raised over $20 million, funding projects such as the Acute Services Building and the new Angiography suite at Taranaki Base Hospital.
These projects have allowed thousands of people to receive local, life-saving care instead of traveling to larger facilities. Currently, we are working on Project Maunga Stage 2, which includes the development of the New East Wing Building, Taranaki Cancer Care Centre, and the renal center Te Huhi RaupΕ. With your support, we can continue to bring world-class healthcare to Taranaki.
