Tarbutu

Tarbutu is a travel company specializing in culturally focused journeys, educational travel seminars, organized cruises, and river voyages. Its itineraries are built around subjects such as history, archaeology, art, literature, music, nature, cuisine, and Jewish heritage, sometimes combining several themes in one trip. Tours are led by specialists with in-depth knowledge of the destination or subject, giving travelers context and insight alongside sightseeing.

The company offers land tours and cruise programs across destinations in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East. Examples include Sardinia during its traditional carnival season, a Venice seminar timed to the Carnival of Masks, and an Ecuador and Amazon journey paired with a yacht cruise through the Galápagos Islands. Other featured trips explore the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, the Arctic, and South America. River-cruise options include routes on the Danube, Rhine, Seine, Rhône, Dordogne, and Douro. Tarbutu presents its trips as in-depth, carefully planned experiences, with rich educational content, expert guidance, and opportunities to engage with local culture and landscapes.
