About TAS
TAS is an aviation training academy based at Miami International Airport, where it has trained aviation professionals since 1982. Describing itself as the world’s oldest flight dispatch school, TAS combines classroom instruction with practical learning using real dispatch systems and guidance from active instructors with airline experience. It reports more than 5,000 graduates across over 20 countries and offers in-person and hybrid study options.
Its programs include FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certification, reduced-hours training, requalification and recurrent courses, and flight crew transition programs. TAS FlightPath 100 is presented as a career pathway from no prior experience to airline professional. The academy also provides FAA instructor courses, including Fundamentals of Instruction and Advanced Ground Instructor programs, as well as FAA Part 107 drone and UAS training with practical flight instruction.
Beyond education, TAS offers access to global dispatch networks and flight and trip support resources, and promotes TAS Coffee.
