RIEC Oost-Brabant

Taskforce-RIEC Brabant-Zeeland is a regional partnership that helps public authorities and other partners work together to tackle undermining and organised crime in the Brabant-Zeeland area of the Netherlands. It facilitates a sustained, integrated approach by coordinating cooperation among its covenant partners and advising public-sector leaders on options for administrative action. Regional Information and Expertise Centres (RIECs) are central to this work. Since early 2025, two separate RIEC offices have supported partners: RIEC Oost-Brabant and RIEC Zeeland West-Brabant.

The partnership prioritises human trafficking, cocaine, cannabis cultivation, synthetic drugs and money laundering. It also develops strengthening programmes to improve the regional response. Alongside its coordination and advisory role, Taskforce-RIEC shares news, insights and information about collaborative efforts, and promotes resilience among government and society.
