The Alliance for Sustainable Schools is an international non-profit network of schools dedicated to accelerating the transition to a sustainable future. Our members, who share a commitment to the Sustainable Schools Charter, work together to make a positive impact. As a community of practice, The Alliance connects sustainability practitioners from schools worldwide, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and amplification of their collective efforts.

We also collaborate with innovative organizations in local communities to drive systems change in five key areas: school buses, school buildings, school food, school uniforms, and education for sustainability. Our mission is to expedite the transition to a sustainable future. We achieve this by partnering with our members and stakeholders to catalyze systems change in the sustainability of school food, school buses, school uniforms, school buildings, and education for sustainability.
