Taste IST

TasteIST is a whisky education and tasting brand that helps people understand, describe, and refine their personal preferences. Its TasteIST Flavor Signature (TiFS™) framework turns aroma, palate, and finish into a structured visual profile, using six sensory axes and category-aware calibration for Bourbon and single malt Scotch. Customers can begin with a short self-assessment, view a Flavor Signature, and retake assessments or record bottle reviews to track how their palate develops over time.

The brand also offers guided tastings and workshops, including Bourbon versus Scotch comparisons, explorations of Scotch regions, American whiskies, and chocolate and whisky pairings. These experiences use structured comparisons to explore flavor, tradition, landscape, grain, and maturation. TasteIST describes its approach as designed for progression, helping participants build confidence in recognizing and communicating what they enjoy.

Its planned dashboard brings assessments, reviews, clarity measures, and signature composition together, with personalized bottle recommendations informed by users’ evolving profiles. Through educational tools, tastings, and community updates, TasteIST aims to make whisky discovery more accessible, social, and expressive
