Tatau Tattoo Academy is a professional training academy founded in 2018, with locations in Medellín, Envigado, and La Ceja, Colombia. It teaches tattooing and body piercing to beginners and aspiring artists through hands-on instruction, personalized guidance, and flexible attendance. Students can progress at their own pace, attending unlimited classes from Monday to Sunday for programs lasting six, 12, or 18 months.

Tattoo training starts with practice on synthetic skin and advances to real skin under professional supervision. The academy’s eight-module comprehensive tattoo course includes a professional machine, materials kit, and certification. Its piercing course provides 16 hours of intensive training, with practice on models and real clients, and is available at the Medellín location in group or personalized formats.

Tatau also offers a free introductory class, including materials and direct instructor support, so prospective students can experience its teaching approach before enrolling. Additional benefits include access to all three locations, monthly workshops, and a community of graduates
