Tauchen Itzehoe

Tauchen Itzehoe is a dive school in Itzehoe, Germany, led by instructor and owner Helge Petersen. The school offers scuba training for beginners, recreational divers and experienced technical divers, following PADI and SDI standards for sport diving and DSAT and TDI standards for technical courses. Its training is delivered in small groups of no more than two or three people, or through one-to-one instruction, with an emphasis on safety, quality and learning at a comfortable pace.

Courses range from introductory try-dives and Open Water Diver certification to Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver and Divemaster training. Students can also pursue specialty courses, professional development, and technical diving qualifications. Theory can be completed online, with pool sessions in a swimming pool and, by arrangement, open-water training on La Palma in the Canary Islands. The school also supports aspiring professionals pursuing Divemaster and Assistant Instructor qualifications, with instructor training available through a partner. Pool practice generally takes place on Wednesdays, alongside the local dive club.
