Tauchschule Calypso

Tauchschule Calypso is a diving school founded in May 2000 by Birgitt and Dirk Möller. Based in Lashorst, near Pr. Oldendorf in the Ostwestfalen region between Bielefeld, Minden and Osnabrück, it welcomes people interested in learning and developing their diving skills. Training follows the standards of the German Underwater Federation (VDST) and CMAS, with courses ranging from introductory experiences and beginner certifications to advanced diver qualifications and specialist training. The school also offers Nitrox education and rebreather training, from beginner level through rebreather instructor; it lists instruction for several rebreather systems. Its training certificates are described as internationally recognized.

Calypso provides diving equipment for hire, including Scubapro equipment and Barakuda suits, and sells equipment from Barakuda and Zeagle, with other manufacturers available on request. Its workshop services include regulator overhauls, dive computer repairs and battery changes, suit repairs, compressor maintenance, and booster servicing. The school also supplies related parts, accessories and consumables, and is an authorized Scubapro service workshop.
