Taukotupa

Taukotupa is a Finnish-language daily word game designed to offer a brief, engaging break with words. Players try to guess the word of the day in six attempts, with the answer ranging from four to six letters. Each guess must be a valid Finnish word, and color clues show whether letters are in the correct position, appear elsewhere in the answer, or are not included.

The site also offers player statistics, including games played, solve rate, average attempts, current and longest winning streaks, and points. Players can join or create groups to share the experience, while browser-based storage keeps game progress, results, and group memberships available on the same device. A player key can be used to restore an account on another browser or device.

Taukotupa states that it uses local browser storage and does not use advertising cookies. The game’s word list is based on the contemporary Finnish word list from the Institute for the Languages of Finland
