Tawani Foundation

The Tawani Foundation is a private foundation that focuses on making a positive impact in various areas such as education, gender and human sexuality, cultural institutions and preservation, environmental initiatives, and health and human services. With a deep respect for history and a steadfast optimism for the future, their grantmaking aims to weave together a diverse tapestry of giving. The foundation is guided by the vision of its founder, COL (IL) Jennifer N.

Pritzker, IL ARNG (Retired), and her children who inspired its name. Through their grants, the Tawani Foundation supports organizations and programs that empower communities and build on their missions. They have made significant contributions to institutions and initiatives such as the University of Minnesota Medical School's Program in Human Sexuality and those that support servicemen and women.

They have also generously donated to various arts, education, and food security institutions. While the foundation accepts applications by invitation only, they sincerely appreciate the impactful work being done by organizations and causes seeking their aid. By honoring the past and funding a brighter future, the Tawani Foundation is building a legacy of philanthropy
