TAXI-Zentrale Aichach

TAXI-Zentrale Aichach is a passenger transport provider serving Aichach and the surrounding region. Founded by Joachim Schmaus in 1996, the business has grown from a single taxi into a local fleet operator, with more than 50 employees and 21 vehicles listed on its website. The company emphasizes reliable dispatch, experienced drivers and considerate service, and says it is available daily from 5:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with round-the-clock service on weekends and before public holidays.

Its services include standard taxi trips, larger-capacity vehicles and specially adapted vehicles for wheelchair transport. Trained staff secure wheelchairs using appropriate equipment and transport passengers while they remain seated. The company also operates the Anruf-Sammel-Taxi (AST), a shared taxi service on selected routes and at times when bus services are limited; rides require advance phone registration. For weddings, company events and birthdays, it offers shuttle services, and it provides regular transport for residential groups, day centres, senior homes and disability workshops. Its fleet includes Mercedes, Nissan and Ford vehicles, including accessible models and nine-seat minibuses.
