Taxisalbufeira

Taxis Albufeira, operated by Albucoop, provides public passenger transport in Albufeira and has served the local community since 1985. The company operates around the clock, including weekends and public holidays, offering residents and visitors a convenient way to travel with local drivers. Its fleet includes 105 taxis, with vehicles accommodating between four and eight passengers. The company says its vehicles are clean, air-conditioned and maintained in excellent condition, with an average age of around three years. Fares are calculated by taximeter according to tariffs set under Portuguese regulations.

Customers can request a taxi by calling the 24-hour central dispatch team or booking through the 1 Taxi app. More than 30 taxi ranks across the city offer another option for finding a nearby vehicle. Taxis Albufeira also supports hotels and other local partners with booking equipment and a dedicated assistance line. The company accepts cash, domestic debit cards and international cards, and invites applications for driver and administrative roles.
